WELCOME TO THE 39TH MOTOR TRANSPORT AWARDS

For almost 40 years, the Motor Transport Awards have been the benchmark for excellence among UK road transport fleet operators, truck manufacturers and other product and service providers.

Last year was once again incredibly tough, with volumes stagnating, high cost inflation and only slow falls in interest rates. Rate increases were hard to come and 2025 saw record numbers of hauliers go to the wall. All this while the industry is under growing pressure to achieve the seemingly impossible and invest in decarbonisation.

But the UK transport and logistics industry is nothing if not resilient and the Motor Transport Awards are all about recognising the fantastic achievements of the people and companies who continued to deliver the goods in 2025 in the face of adversity.

This year, the Motor Transport Awards introduces three new categories: Contract Hire and Leasing Provider of the Year, Specialist Operator of the Year, and Network of the Year.
