WELCOME TO THE 40TH MOTOR TRANSPORT AWARDS
9 September 2026 │ Grosvenor House Hotel, London
For 40 years, the Motor Transport Awards have been the benchmark for excellence among UK road transport fleet operators, truck manufacturers and other product and service providers.
Back in 1986 when the Motor Transport Awards were launched, Margaret Thatcher was prime minister, interest rates were 10%, Liverpool did the double by winning the FA Cup and the First Division title and the first Haulier of the Year was C Butt, a family firm that is still going strong.
A lot has changed in those 40 years, with Brexit, the financial crisis and Covid-19 all presenting huge challenges to an industry that lives on low margins and movies the nation’s goods without any support from the government at rates which are some of the most competitive in the world.
The transport and logistics industry remains an unsung hero, unseen by the public until something goes wrong, and the Motor Transport Awards are still all about recognising the achievements of the people and companies who deliver the goods for UK plc.
Tables are currently available to book at the early bird rate and entries will open on 12 January. To secure your place at the best night in road transport at 2025 prices please click below.
